Runes

There are three types of rune: attack, defense and utility. The character can equip one of each type of rune.

Attack Runes

Attack runes give attack bonuses to the player. Each rune has a primary attack bonus. However, runes that are improved in the blacksmith to have more stars will gain additional secondary attack bonuses at 2 stars, 4 stars and 6 stars.

	Attack speed rune The attack speed rune increases the speed at which attack are done. This in turn increases the rate at which damage it done to the enemies.
	Weapon damage rune The weapon damage rune adds additional damage to basic weapons attacks. This applies to the basic weapon attacks, not ability based attacks.
	Spell power rune The spell power rune increases the damage done by spell based attacks. It also increases the effectiveness of other spells, such as healing, pet summoning, etc.
	Critical chance rune The critical chance rune increases the chance of basic weapon attacks doing double damage. The double damage done can be increased by using the critical damage runes.
	Critical damage rune The critical damage rune increases the damage done when a critical hit occurs. The basic critical hit damage, without boosting runes or equipment, is double a normal hit damage.
	Energy regeneration rune The energy regeneration rune increases the speed at which the energy regenerates.

Defense Runes

Defense runes give defense bonuses to the player. Each rune has a primary defense bonus. However, runes that are improved in the blacksmith to have more stars will gain additional secondary defense bonuses at 2 stars, 4 stars and 6 stars.

	Physical defense rune The physical defense rune decreases the damage taken from physical enemy attacks. The higher the percentage, the more the damage is reduced.
	Magic defense rune The magic defense rune decreases the damage taken from magical enemy attacks. The higher the percentage, the more the damage is reduced.
	Max health rune The max health rune increases the maximum health of the player. Having higher health allows the damage to be taken before being killed.
	Health regeneration rune The health regeneration rune increases the rate at which health is restored over time. It does not affect the health gained using the healing potions or healing spells.
	Healing received rune The healing received rune increases the amount of health received when using healing potions or healing spells. It does not affect the health naturally regained over time.
	Dodge chance rune The dodge chance rune increases the chance of completely dodging an enemy attack. If failed to dodge, then it does not alter the damage taken from an enemy attack.

Utility Runes

Utility runes give utility bonuses to the player. Each rune has a primary utility bonus. However, runes that are improved in the blacksmith to have more stars will gain additional secondary utility bonuses at 2 stars, 4 stars and 6 stars.

	Bonus gold coins rune The bonus gold coins rune increases the gold coins gained from killing enemies and completing quests. It does not affect the gold coins gained from chests or from the gold mine.
	Bonus experience rune The bonus experiences rune increases the experience gained from killing enemies and completing quests.
	Royal dragon passives rune The royal dragon passives rune increases passive benefits gained from the royal dragon hatchlings.
	Gold mine rewards rune The gold mine rewards rune increases the rewards gained when collecting from the gold mine.
	Movement speed rune The movement speed rune increases the speed at which the player moves around. It does not alter the attack speed, only when moving.
	Energy cost reduction rune The energy cost reduction rune decreases the energy needed for special abilities.
